Today, lupus warriors, I want to take a few lines to recognize and congratulate ourselves. Let’s do the following excercice:
Close your eyes and think of all you have survived, all that has passed. Look at your story and recognize your strength, all that you have learned, grown, endured. Recognize yourself as the warrior you are, strong, resilient, capable. Give yourself now the recognition and love you deserve. Think of the hard times, remember them, see yourself in these memories, go to yourself and tell yourself what you know now, that you will survive, that it will get better. Hug yourself in these difficult times in your story and tell yourself you are not alone, that you are always there for you, by your side, taking care of you. Give yourself the love that you deserve. Hug yourself, pamper yourself, feel proud of your achievements, of all the times you stumbled, fell and got back up. Tell yourself, and the other you’s this:
I PROMISE MYSELF, I PROMISE YOU, TO LOVE ME ALWAYS, UNCONDITIONALLY, ABSOLUTELY, BEYOND THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF LIFE
I PROMISE MYSELF TO LOVE ME ALWAYS, UNCONDITIONALLY AND ABSOLUTELY, BEYOND WHAT OTHERS DO OR THINK
I PROMISE TO LOVE ME ALWAYS, UNCONDITIONALLY, ABSOLUTELY, WHATEVER THE OBSTACLES AND DIFFICULT MOMENTS
I LOVE ME. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS, JUST AS YOU ARE, JUST AS I AM, ABSOLUTELY AND UNCONDITIONALLY.
Now, as a prize, do something that is very pleasant. Give yourself a prize for being so strong. You can have your favourite candy, have a bath with escences, take a walk with friends. Whatever you come up with, and do it as a prize to yourself for all that you have achieved, grown, survived. You are a survivor of many battles. A true heroine. Treat yourself as such.
